Adverse Weather and Cancellations
The decision of whether to cancel fixtures is made at the full discretion of the host school between 6.00am to 7.00am on Saturday mornings, following an inspection of their sports grounds.
- For Home fixtures, we will immediately notify our guest school(s) and publish Cancellation announcements at the top of this page by 7.10am.
- For Away fixtures, we will publish Cancellation announcements immediately after the host school has informed us.
- If no Cancellation announcements are made by 8.00am, all morning AM fixtures will proceed as scheduled.
- If no Cancellation announcements are made by 11.00am, all afternoon PM fixtures will proceed as scheduled.
The safety and wellbeing of our students, and the parents and carers that accompany them to weekend sports, is of paramount importance to us.
In the event of inclement weather leading into weekends, Saturday sports fixtures may be cancelled if sports fields or other outdoor facilities are determined to be unsafe to play on. This would only occur during periods of severe weather events such as - but not limited to - heavy rainfall, high winds, stormy conditions and extreme temperatures.
